To find a Justice of the Peace close to where you will be getting married, check out the Massachusetts Justice of the Peace Association’s (MJPA) website at www.mjpa.org. I am a member of the MJPA.
Timing...
I strongly suggest that you contact an officiant such as a Justice of the Peace to perform your wedding ceremony as soon as you have settled on your wedding date. You may be surprised to find many officiants already have your date scheduled elsewhere.
If you are considering getting married without a large ceremony and/or within a short timeframe, I am available at my office in Westborough where I can perform a marriage on short notice.
Venues to consider...
There is no restriction of any sort as to where you can have your wedding ceremony. For a different and fun location consider: scenic parks, museums, public or private gardens, colleges or universities, sporting events, beaches, theaters, cruises or boats, with a group of motorcyclists (I ride) or any place or event that you consider special and where you can get permission to hold a ceremony.
